Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to the fans the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
