The film was scheduled for shooting on location in Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the film, an independent one Treachery with Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012. Butler played a role in 2013's horror film The Demented with Michael Welch as well as Kayla Ewell.
